Cup Sleeve Fabrication Project

Project Overview:
The Portico x Joe's Art Time Cup Sleeve Fabrication Project was a collaborative initiative aimed at creating custom cup sleeves for a community event hosted at The Portico in downtown Tampa, FL. My team and I were hired to design and fully fabricate the cup sleeves, blending both artistic creativity and functional design. This project allowed us to contribute to a meaningful event in the community while showcasing our fabrication skills.

Problem It Solves:
Community events often require unique branding and design elements to create a memorable experience for attendees. Cup sleeves, though often overlooked, can serve as a powerful branding tool that enhances event aesthetics and connects with the audience on a personal level. For this particular event, there was a need for custom, artistically crafted cup sleeves that aligned with the values and atmosphere of The Portico’s event.

Our team addressed this need by creating cup sleeves that were both visually appealing and functional, ensuring they reflected the event's community-centered focus while offering a memorable takeaway for attendees. This collaboration between our design team and the event organizers brought a fresh, creative touch to the experience.

We conducted on-site user interaction during the event to gather feedback, which confirmed that the sleeves were not only functional and aesthetically pleasing but also resonated with attendees by fostering connection and supporting the event’s mission.
