Magazine & Immersive Installation Project- Hung Up

Project Brief:
"Hung Up" is a typography-based project that delves into the history and impact of one of the most commonly overlooked yet essential household items: the clothing hanger. Created by my group, this project includes a magazine and a live art installation that together explore the invention of the clothing hanger in the 1920s, tracing its evolution and the ways it has influenced everyday life.

Problem It Solves:
The challenge was to bring attention to this under-appreciated invention and highlight its significance in shaping modern lifestyles.

"Hung Up" solves this by offering an in-depth exploration of the hanger’s history, innovations, and advancements through both visual and written narratives. The magazine component uses dynamic typography and design to tell the story of the hanger, while the live art installation brings an interactive element, allowing viewers to engage with the history of this everyday item in a new, meaningful way
